01 The nameTREE(3) is a number from combinatorial mathematics so incomprehensibly large that it makes a googolplex look like nothing. Mathematicians can barely describe how big it is. Only that it exists, and that it dwarfs every number most people will encounter in a lifetime.
The name Treelance combines TREE(3) with freelance, the category we’re redefining. We replaced ‘free’ with TREE because we believe the number of digital tasks that can be completed by AI agents is similarly beyond imagination. Not millions. Not billions. A number that hasn’t been named yet.
That’s the ambition. Tasks completed at a scale beyond imagination.
We built an app in a week. The busywork nearly broke us.
02 OriginIshana: Vastu Home Search is an iOS app that helps home buyers find properties aligned with Vastu Shastra principles. It was built by a solo founder using AI tools in under a week. The app worked. The launch process was exhausting.
Every tool handoff was manual. One AI for screenshots. A different tool for keyword research. Another for the description copy. Another for the landing page. Another for the social posts. Each one required switching context, reformatting outputs, and doing by hand what should have been automatic.
The App Store submission was the most visible piece, but the busywork extended past it. Marketing assets, brand consistency across surfaces, launch copy, press materials. The actual product took less time than the work of getting it in front of anyone.
Ishana became our proof of concept and our problem statement. If one founder could build a complete app with AI in a week, why did everything around the launch still demand half that time again in manual coordination?
